In other news, this weekend is Bruce and Bonnie's Destruction of the One Ring Party ^_^ I shall be making lembas, and miruvor.
List of Things to do
1. Go to Lothlorien.
2. Capture Galadriel and make her tell me how to make lembas.
3. Travel to Rivendell.
4. Kidnap Elrond and demand secret of how to make miruvor.
5.Stop by Moria and scratch 'Zhie was Here' on the door.
6. Catch an Eagle Air flight home.
Or, I'll just look for a lembas recipe online. I went to World Market last weekend and picked up honey from Austria and England in hopes of making said lembas more... er... authentic. (*snickers* Yeah, sure, Zhie, let's worry about the authenticity of a fictional grain product) Trying to figure where I can find some mallorn leaves to wrap these suckers in once I get them done. As for miruvor, I've had it in my mind for the longest time that it's peach and raspberry flavored, so that's what I'm going with. Yup.
Oh, and I'm dragging DarkDreamer along, so I'm sure she'll be able to give a report on her version of the goingsons that day. ^_^
Monty's dressing up like Arwen for it. Dark told me she's going to be 'modern day Erestor' (all black, nothing fancy), as there was a resounding 'no' when I mentioned Monty's plan to turn this into a costume party. Mark, I doubt will wear anything, though he mentioned wearing the harry potter sorting hat I have (yes, I have the sorting hat! mwhahaha!) and making everyone call him Radagast. As for me... I told Monty a few weeks back that if I had the time, it would be fun to convince Mark to be Amroth and then I'd go as Nimrodel (but then we'd tell everyone that, no, we didn't drown, we just ran off to Las Vegas to get eloped and ditch Middle-earth) and if I couldn't convince him, that maybe I could throw something together and be Luthien ('cause, y'know, if she's gonna be Arwen, well, it's a sister thing, gotta one-up her...)
Or, I could go as a very confused Jedi Master. I have the costume for that, and the lightsaber. Wouldn't that be fun?
Somewhere, there are still blackmail photos from Monty's birthday party, where I came as The Canary and Mark showed up as Robin Hood. Amusing stuffs.
