My mum flew over to the cart, scolded me but good - the lady was, like, GONE, the minute I pointed her out as my influence as to why I did it.

So, the other day, I'm talking with one of the part time librarians, and we're discussing the aquarium at work. I mention how I was scooping out snails and changing the water the week he was gone and he asks 'so, is that why your nails are all bruised?'
I look at my hands. I had put nail polish on, oh, maybe sometime back in the beginning of March or end of February. Totally forgot about it. So, what's left of it, yeah, there's a bit left on six of my nails right now, he's right, it looks plenty badly. The discussion then moves on to how much of a girl I am not, lol. *scrapes remnants off thumb* there, down to five now.
