Egads! I finally broke my record!

I have a tendency to only buy one new CD at any given time ever (I hardly ever buy CDs, actually, mostly I just check them out from the library when I want to hear something, or I gank them from Mark). However, I have been itching badly for the Andy Bell solo album, especially after reading some British reviews that called it and the new Erasure CD, Union Street, utter crap.
Utter crap usually means they couldn't fucking understand it, and that I'll probably love it.
(Well, there was that one Prince CD... Rave Unto the Joy Fantastic or whatever it was, that really WAS utter crap... but there must always be an exception to the crap rule)
So, I went to Borders, and picked up both of them (which also breaks the Zhie only buys one CD a year rule), and then I also did something totally bizarre... I bought NEW books.
I never buy new books. I always adopt old ones from used book stores or hit up the discount book racks. New books? Blah.
But.. I have been in need of a decent rhyming dictionary, and after looking at each and every rhyming dictionary available to the human race, selected one with 50,000 entries and also that is hardcover. Yay me.
I then spent ten minutes laughing at the dictionaries that claim to be 'pocket', 'travel', and 'compact'. Now, I don't know about you, but last I checked, I don't have any pockets that are 6 x9 inches and will hold a two pound book comfortably. Yet, 'POCKET DICTIONARY' they proclaim. *snort*
Also picked up a lovely book entitled 'Words you thought you knew' so I can stop making an ass of myself by having things lie and lay that shouldn't, and to help remove other such silliness.
*nods*
And now... I must drown myself in the lyrics from the Electric Blue album ^_^ Oooo, the plot bunnies are practically LEAPING at me.. so many Glorfindel/Erestor stories, so little time...
