Not exactly, since I’m married. But we’re still silly and say we go out on dates sometimes.

I have many a color of underwear. And some with patterns, too. As for right now, well.. I’m home right now, I don’t have to be at work at a certain time, and I haven’t been anywhere yet today. For those who (yes, there’s a tmi coming up) don’t know that I’m a nudist in my own home, the answer is, what underwear? And for those who knew the answer already, well, there are now more people going ‘geez, Zhie, did you have to share that?!’ for you to share your pain and suffering with.

That I have so much to take care of today now that I’m back home. Also, that I miss my brother (dreamed about him again) and I am SO happy to be back with the kitties. *gives Harley a belly rub with my foot*

(The person at the ticket counter even questioned me when we were going from here to Denver a few days back as to whether I was over 18 or not.. although, it may have been due to the fact I had a stuffed purple rabbit peeking out of my carryon). But, I have been told by a number of members of the male population that I have nice legs. So, y’know, I do have that.
6. Honestly, what did you dream, tonight?
I dreamed that we were flying out again, but this time to Georgia. This is because Lady Mir IMed me last night and said ‘pack your bags’ because the fanfic forum at Dragoncon is a go and some time back she and Kath asked me to be a panelist for it. So I dreamed that we just took our luggage back down and hopped on a plane out, but we also went with Dan and Jaynie, friends of mine and my brother’s from back in high school, and when we got there, we met up with TJ (my bro) and then while driving in the car, I told TJ how proud I was of him, not just for his recent feat (more details in another posting, but there’s some Army basketball competition going on over there, and he is doing totally awesome and is going to be on ESPN or some other related cable sports channel being interviewed about his awesomeness in playing basketball) but also for being in the Army and all that. Then, I woke up. I could give more details on everything in the dream, however, we’d be here a while.

I used to, back when I still lived at my parent’s house and the free weekend of Disney would be offered. We’d tape all the movies they’d have on those weekends. It’s how I first got to see 1776.

No, I don’t think so.

I don’t have an ex, so I can’t really answer this one.

There were a few times when I said I was going to, but those times were due to severe frustration. I would never actually do it; especially after my uncle’s numerous attempts and final success (if one can call it that – though, I still think it was murder and not suicide) of such a thing.

Relaxed, mellow. Happy, I’m home and my kitty is sitting next to me in his usual spot. Mark is still in bed so I have time to mess around on the computer, and little miss baby kitty is chasing spots of light on the floor. Life is good.

Mark, the kitties. My family beyond Mark and the kitties. Books. (hee hee)

TJ. Although, Maggie, too. But with TJ, he’s not exactly all that close. Oh, I cannot wait for July..

I have that slash thing I keep away from Mark, but I do that more because he has this whole odd thing where he thinks that if someone writes slash, they must be gay on some level.. and this comes from the fact that every slash writer he has been introduced to (since, he didn’t know that Mei and Laura have dabbled in slash when he met them, and still doesn’t know) has either been gay or bisexual. I have to start introducing him to more het slash writers (wait, that phrase is going to confuse someone… oh well..)
I don’t really keep any ‘deep dark’ secrets, because, when asked, I will pretty much reveal all. There’s only a few things where I don’t offer a lot of information ahead of time about: those being, I don’t like wearing clothing (we covered that above already I believe.. and btw, this is something that was ongoing since my childhood, not some new adult development.. my poor parents, having to deal with me, lol), I’m a fur, though, more closeted than most I think (but I do have more than one fluffy tail and set of furry ears, and my goodness, the number of stuffed animals around this place…), although now that I no longer have a drive to run for political offices, I suppose I don’t have to worry so much on that one, and thirdly, and this one for a while only Laura knew, but then other people started poking and questioning, and that being, that of all of the lotr characters I write about, the one that has the most of ‘me’ in them is Erestor (this is mostly regarding the FHH/PPB stuff). But then, when you’re a slightly sarcastic librarian, who else do you channel yourself to?

Can’t really think of anyone.

Nope. I had the awesomest typing instructor in high school, and she taught me how to sit, how to type, and how not to look at the keyboard, and how to type upwards of a hundred words a minute. Lynn was just totally awesome; then, when I started subbing, she would always request me, and she gave me all her passwords so that I could use the computers at all the schools while I was teaching. Awesome lady. And, I still see her often because she lives in the same building as Bruce and Bonnie. Ah, such a small city.

Not right at this moment, but that’s because I’m hungry. And if I’m hungry, it’s more difficult for me to be all naughty and sexy and whatnot because inevitably, the tummy will growl and say ‘yo, bitch! Feed me, yo!’ and then, well, that ruins the mood..

(How odd, that the only time I was brave enough to be in the school spelling bee – I was that shy little kid in elementary school, the one who cried when we watched movies where something bad happened, geez I think I was even crying during the little news show about AIDS/HIV when we watched it – I was knocked out by misspelling the word ‘technology’ and now I work at a technical college)

Aliens. I had a dream about Dolly Parton getting abducted when I was little and after that, I feared they might come and get me, too.

Silly kitty antics Every time I tried to pick them up, they will wiggle away and meow at me saying ‘I can’t believe you left us all alone’ and the minute I pretend to ignore them they’re up in my lap purring their heads off meowing ‘we missed you, we love you, don’t leave us again!’
37. Best bed sheets you had as a child?
The cream colored ones with blue flowers and sheep on them that Gramma got for me. I liked my Strawberry Shortcake ones, too.
38. Worst injury you've ever had?
I know that when I was about a year old, I ran head first into a fire extinguisher. After my poor (at the time pregnant with TJ, too) mother waited for three hours in the emergency room with me bleeding all over from my head, she gave up on the doctors, took me home, cracked open the medical book, and cleaned me up. Then, I guess she made me stay awake for quite a while to make sure I’d be okay and stuff. The worst one I can think of in regards to remembering it would be when I broke my wrist playing tennis. Meant I couldn’t play bass either and I was so sure that I wouldn’t catch up on things and that I could kiss the yearly competition goodbye. Somehow, it healed much faster than expected, so although I missed two gigs and a competition, I didn’t miss the entire year.

I don’t know what the high school one was because I was not good in math and was terrible in chemistry so it was a GPA that was so low that the only reason I got into the college I did was via my ACT scores and them looking at the scores I got on the ASVAB two years prior. In college, with less science and only one math class (with every test an open book exam), I had a 3.28 undergrad and a 3.8 graduate degree GPA.
Now, something about math.. when I was in elementary school, I was one of four kids pulled out of regular math to do advanced math. In middle school, I was one of the four mathcounts team members. In high school.. angles and formulas and circles and all that crap made my head hurt. Now, when we were in mathcounts, we dealt with all that stuff. However, I was not on the team for that. We had three guys on the team who were all in middle school but being shuttled over to the high school daily for their math classes. I was the one who dealt with the logic questions. Arrange these numbers as many times as you can so that no number is next to itself and so that no number is next to a number that is consecutive. Farmer brown has a farm (duh) and there are x number of legs on the farm. He has twice as many sheep as pigs and only half as many ducks as he has sheep. His wife keeps cows equal to the number of all of the other animals on the farm. How many pigs are there? Stuff like that. I could do that stuff in my sleep. The minute it went to x+b=y/z… gah.

At that point in time, I was so sure that I was going to have a career as a musician. When I went to college, my mom insisted that I get a degree in teaching first, so I was going to score myself a history degree, and then go back for music part time while teaching. Library science fell into my lap and I’m so glad it did. Last year, at one of her craft shows, my mom turned to me all teary eyed and said ‘I should have let you go and be a musician’ (I had been telling her how I had just bought a flute to add to my instrument family of the bass, keyboard, violin, guitars, and etc.). That was sort of weird, but in some ways I enjoy keeping the music and writing as hobbies and the playing with books as my job.

I will get a slight burn, but then it will tan, and when it does, the tanned area will stay that way for over a year, I shit you not.

When mom called us at the airport trying to find us. We played a round of ‘let’s stay on the phone and see who can find the other first’ and I ended up trying to cheat by hiding behind Mark going ‘I’m not here, you can’t see me, la la la la la’ (this as we passed a group of homeland security peoples.. probably not the smartest thing I’ve done in an airport)

34. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
Aliens. I had a dream about Dolly Parton getting abducted when I was little and after that, I feared they might come and get me, too.
36. Last thing that made you laugh?
Silly kitty antics Every time I tried to pick them up, they will wiggle away and meow at me saying ‘I can’t believe you left us all alone’ and the minute I pretend to ignore them they’re up in my lap purring their heads off meowing ‘we missed you, we love you, don’t leave us again!’
37. Best bed sheets you had as a child?
The cream colored ones with blue flowers and sheep on them that Gramma got for me. I liked my Strawberry Shortcake ones, too.
38. Worst injury you've ever had?
I know that when I was about a year old, I ran head first into a fire extinguisher. After my poor (at the time pregnant with TJ, too) mother waited for three hours in the emergency room with me bleeding all over from my head, she gave up on the doctors, took me home, cracked open the medical book, and cleaned me up. Then, I guess she made me stay awake for quite a while to make sure I’d be okay and stuff. The worst one I can think of in regards to remembering it would be when I broke my wrist playing tennis. Meant I couldn’t play bass either and I was so sure that I wouldn’t catch up on things and that I could kiss the yearly competition goodbye. Somehow, it healed much faster than expected, so although I missed two gigs and a competition, I didn’t miss the entire year.
39. What is your GPA?
I don’t know what the high school one was because I was not good in math and was terrible in chemistry so it was a GPA that was so low that the only reason I got into the college I did was via my ACT scores and them looking at the scores I got on the ASVAB two years prior. In college, with less science and only one math class (with every test an open book exam), I had a 3.28 undergrad and a 3.8 graduate degree GPA.
Now, something about math.. when I was in elementary school, I was one of four kids pulled out of regular math to do advanced math. In middle school, I was one of the four mathcounts team members. In high school.. angles and formulas and circles and all that crap made my head hurt. Now, when we were in mathcounts, we dealt with all that stuff. However, I was not on the team for that. We had three guys on the team who were all in middle school but being shuttled over to the high school daily for their math classes. I was the one who dealt with the logic questions. Arrange these numbers as many times as you can so that no number is next to itself and so that no number is next to a number that is consecutive. Farmer brown has a farm (duh) and there are x number of legs on the farm. He has twice as many sheep as pigs and only half as many ducks as he has sheep. His wife keeps cows equal to the number of all of the other animals on the farm. How many pigs are there? Stuff like that. I could do that stuff in my sleep. The minute it went to x+b=y/z… gah.

Three. One in each bedroom and the one in the living room.

21) Looking back, are you where you thought you would be in 2006?
At that point in time, I was so sure that I was going to have a career as a musician. When I went to college, my mom insisted that I get a degree in teaching first, so I was going to score myself a history degree, and then go back for music part time while teaching. Library science fell into my lap and I’m so glad it did. Last year, at one of her craft shows, my mom turned to me all teary eyed and said ‘I should have let you go and be a musician’ (I had been telling her how I had just bought a flute to add to my instrument family of the bass, keyboard, violin, guitars, and etc.). That was sort of weird, but in some ways I enjoy keeping the music and writing as hobbies and the playing with books as my job.
