Just checked the payment system as I've nervously been doing every few days and just saw that my travel check was cut from the Colorado experience on the 5th meaning I should get it in the mail by the weekend. I was beginning to worry considering I dug into the savings to pay it off my credit card, but then had to charge the stuff for the Atlanta trip right away. I'll pay off the Atlanta stuff with this check, and then I still think I am going to keep Mark out of the used book store for a while - he bought another 60 bucks of CDs the other night when all I wanted to do was run in and check to see if they had a copy of Roverandum.
(not that I was all that good either.. they didn't have a copy, but I found quite a lot of stuff I don't have that I picked up, plus then ran over and picked up Roverandum at full price, which is twelve dollars and Kath knows this already since I IMed her from the other bookstore to complain to someone about it, lol)
And then... my Buffy the Vampire Slayer Playset came in last night at the comic shop and that was another sixty bucks--
Oh, I see the confused look on your face. An explanation? Yes, yes, forthcoming. Mark pointed it out to me - it's the BTVS Library Playset *squees* Which means, I have to get my ass moving and finish my work on my Erestor action figure. I tried this new flexible sculpey on his hair, and his braid broke off 'cause it tends to crack (the bendy sculpey... makes it kind of a poor product, really) so I had to wait for the hobby shop to get the dark brown regular stuff in, and then I recall sitting at Culvers with Nenni and Dark and playing with this chunk of sculpey.. but anyhow, I have to finish Erestor. He needs some clothes, too. *looks over at Fin-muse* Okay, Fin's shaking his head on the clothing, but I think action Erestor is getting some anyhow.
Heh... you know what I mean ;)
