Come on down to the Adventuring Moose

zhieMy evening has been filled with reference questions, computer problems, and the generation of taverns. Yes, it's nearly the weekend, and time once again for the Order Under the Gazebo to gather for their latest quest. A sea-faring expedition. But, they have no boat, and they have no crew, so the biggest part of the beginning of the adventure is going to be finding a captain, crew, and ship. Enter the generation of taverns. I must have looked at a good 500 of them these last few days. My favorites so far, well, I won't mention them all, for I know Maggie will be reading this, but I'm fond of the Adventuring Moose and I Can't Believe It's a Tavern. Ah, yes, this is going to be a fun one.
And in other news, in a completely different game, Belegar found a red dragon egg. Yay, Belegar! (My DnD elves, with the exception of Bubastis and Aleosly, are all based upon Tolkien elves. Belegar is the 'Haldir' elf of our adventures. I tend to use a psionic halfling named Vera more than any of the others, but for elves, Feran (Erestor) has gotten quite a bit of usage, and he started life as an NPC that everyone wanted to adventure with more. Who'd have thunk?)
Looking forward to the cake sitting in the fridge when I get home tonight. Tuesday was our anniversary (3 years now) and Mark's mom bought us this chocolate covered cake with a big rose on the top of it (real rose, not a frosting one). Have to find out where she got it from. Anyhow, back to the tavern search...that's all for now.
