there's that ten fics meme going around, and i don't know where it's at at the moment, but of course eventually, they do get around to DarkDreamer, and when they hit her, she always tags me, so while i have a moment, i'm avoiding the inevitable.. wait, actually, i'm not avoiding it.. i'm..
screw it.. i'll try to do this; let's see if i can since i have a horrible memory for titles of fics
including my own
i often have to go to someone reading my stories and say 'hey, i wrote one about so and so doing this, do you remember what i called it?'
doesn't help that my file names are NEVER linked to the actual story title
Unforgettable? It's split into three files - Gondolin, Gondolin2 and GD3
Year of Madness is contained in a file called 'Evil Bunny'
The purple & orange plot bunnies are in files that are simply numbered; so I know that in the range of numbers 38, 39, 40 is when Erestor and Glorfindel make it to Valinor, but I don't recall the titles of the actual bunnies themselves.
The Journey To Valinor files I have, I kept naming them JOV1, JOV2
So no one quiz me on my own stuff...

1. Zee's Misadventures
Some of the first stuff I read. Loved it; still love, was particularly fond of the easter egg hunting the the whole 'pink eggs for girls, blue eggs for boys'.
2. Story with a Corset; EP Kitty
I reread this story about five times now. I think I've read this story more times than I've read any other story. I didn't need the smut; I loved the history, the characters, the details. It was so rich, I had to keep coming back to find new things in it. And the whole Nodnyth concept.. this is one of those stories where I sit on my hands going wistfully 'oh, if only there was a sequel, and oh, would I love to play with this person's ideas, but no, no touchy...'
3. Lord Celeborn's Book by Alex
Again, another of those things that got read more than once - I read them the first time, and again when they were reposted, and in between I read a few here and there that I particularly liked. I just thought it was such a wonderfully clever idea, and brilliantly done, and of course, the sex was good too ;)
4. Keep Breathing by Cheysuli
*mumbles* But I'm not going to send anyone off to read it 'cause it's not been updated in forever and you'll be just as frustrated as I am that it's laying dormant... but I did enjoy it muchly... what was there of it...
5. Knives in the Dark by Tyellas
They say you always remember your first love.. and, this was mine. The first Haldir fic I truly fell in love with. *le sigh*
6. Dark Dreamer's Fire Dance
Although I do admit, I gloss over the Thranduil/Elrond stuff, and wish at times there was more het (oh, come on, don't hate me for being a hetter, too), I do love this story. And Gwee. How can you not love Gwee?

well, dammit, now i'm stumped, i've spent a while trying to find either the author's name or the title of the next one, and i can't just skip it.. okay, here goes...
it's from a few years back, and it has to do with the idea that big groups of male elves will get together and they all go to a clearing somewhere. but before that, there are a couple acting as guards who ask each one if they are going in blind or with their sight. If blind, they are blindfolded and led to this circle, if sighted, they just walk there themselves. Everyone snuggles up, sleeps for a while, and then the orgy. Those who have their sight have to guide those who do not.
I have had a plot bunny gnawing on a boot in the corner with an idea for a related story, but again, i can't even remember who wrote the bloody thing...
