If they aren't going to allow liquids of any kind on the plane, are they going to allow mothers to breastfeed while in flight? Just something that - wtf, I keep hearing noises in this place, and it's kinda creeping me out. Now, I know there's a ghost here, but jeez, I hope he's not getting all pissy that I'm leaving or something. The other day one of the panels covering the lights fell down for no reason. No one was under it, it locks in place, and yet, it came down just as I was standing at the desk checking in the morning papers. Yeah, other strange stuffs too that I won't get into.. did I ever mention, this library is built on what was once the world's largest fox farm? Poor lil foxies. Keep meaning to research on that and try to figure out who (or what) keeps making noise around here.

Where was I? Oh, airplanes. Yes. Gah. I feel bad for the people who were supposed to go to minicon... that totally sucks that it's not happening. I'm wondering how this will all affect dragoncon, too. Okay, enough pondering for now, I have books waiting for me...

Actually, the local news here said that formula is being allowed on the plane. But it is inspected carefully first, and in some cases they're asking the person bringing it to drink some of it in front of them to prove that it's not an explosive.

I guess that's fine for formula, but am wondering about those mothers that pre-pump their own milk?

They were allowing milk and juice for babies, as long as the mother tasted them first, and medicine with proof of prescriptoin. I'm just glad I wasn't flying out of Heathrow.
