We are expecting 20 inches, perhaps more. They closed down... um... everything.
Typical snow day, 200 closings.
Today, over 700 closings and it's not even 8am.
So basically, everyone in Southeastern Wisconsin is just chilling out at home at the moment.
I'm considering an 'adventure'; a walk down to yonder quickie mart to pick up eggs. I'd have taken the car, but when the snow plows are having trouble getting through, you stay home. I did manage to get the cars out of the lot this morning, but it was a small battle with the wagon and an all out war with baby car. Baby car doesn't like street parking, I've noticed, but I've got her parked right behind her big sister and in front of someone's badly parked vehicle (too much snow on it to tell whose it was; might have even been just a really tall snow drift, who can tell) so I don't think the snow plows will get her.
Sheesh.. some people have kids; I have cars...
