I, too, have been cursed for Thanksgiving

On the way to my brother's house, the car lights -- all of the ones that we had trouble with last week with the fuse blowing and with having to drive out to get it fixed on a Monday night and all -- blew again. We were closer to home than to his house when it happened, so I swore a lot, I may have thrown something, and then we went back home. So pissed off. I had this pie I made from pears from his tree, and that was supposed to be a surprise for him, and.... (insert lots of swearing here). Which means also did not get to see the rest of my family today, either. It was suggested I call one of the other people who was coming and try to get them to come and give us a ride over, but I hate doing that, I really don't like asking for favors, and I didn't want people waiting/dinner getting cold/etc on our account. Plus, everyone is in the other direction now. Blarg.

Also means no Black Friday in the morning, because these crazy 3am thing means it'll still be dark, and I'm sure not driving out without lights in the dark just to try to wrestle something from another shopper at way too early in the morning. Not in a good mood right now.
