Last week we sent out the first newsletter to the staff.

With Malinorne's aid, it was named Parmasambe

It used to just be called 'library newsletter', which sounded stupid


Most asked questions this week:

Q: What does this word mean?

A: Library

Q: Uh.. ok.. what language is this?

A: Quenya

"So, when I go to Kenya, I'll be able to say library now!"

"You know, I thought so, but I just wanted to ask." (<--- suuuuuuuure ya did...)

"What sort of language is that?" (My answer: It's a fictional language. It was created by J.R.R. Tolkien.) "Oh! Yeah, he's that guy who works here, right?"


Not all of the part time instructors are back yet... so round two will be next week...

*laughs* "Parmasambe" sounds a much, much better title than "Library Newsletter". "Library Newsletter" = meh. "Parmasambe" = (0__0) What the...? *turns head* XD (^_____^)

Maybe add a small footnote to translate/explain the title to the uninitiated?

Parmasambe sounds like a dance to me. A dance performed with scarves and floating around.
