The week in review

zhieMy online time of the past week has been somewhat lacking, and that was due to having Nui staying over. She flew in on Tuesday and left yesterday evening.
Highlights.. we took her to the museum, which was having its roof repared and therefore was defective (the IMAX was off, the animals were covered in tarps, and the exhibits that were interactive were shut off). One of Mark's favorites, a large brass statue of (I think) Shiva did not have a working light on it, meaning it was submersed in total and complete darkness making it look even more mysterious in its alcove, however, not at all suitable for pictures.
I found a plotbunny roaming aimlessly in The Streets of Old Milwaukee exhibit. It came home with me, which is good, because I think I talked to this one some time earlier but didn't bring it home last time.
We had planned trips to the zoo and to the park, however, Nui was sick either from some eggs or from something else. I'm now tending to think it's something else because yesterday I woke with a sore throat, and today the same except now I've got a stomacheache (thus, am writing this semi-curled upon the couch). Mark, Monty, and I did manage to initiate Dark and Nui into our D&D group (the adventurers managed to kill the main character within five minutes of play. It made for an interesting adventure.. although, because of it, they did get to meet the D&D versions of Elrond, Celebrian, and Cirdan.. oh, and drunken Glorfindel.. so, that was something to make up for it)
Tuesday night we went bowling. Won't go into detail; Dark took pictures which I know are on her livejournal.
Gack. Alright, have to curl back into the fetal potition, considering I have to have my ass up tomorrow to open the library and can't get out of it. I'm sure there was more I was going to write but, blarg.
Neighbors kept me up until friggin 4am fighting last night. Managed to break their huge living room window around 1am. I thought it was kids outside, but went onto the porch and found it was not. Don't ever remember anything like that going down at all, but, well, bound to happen at some point, I guess, I mean, when you live basically in a big, big house with seven other families (more or less, when ya think about it, that's what this is).
