Went to see the doc today. I coughed, I hacked, I was poked and and nudged and so on and so forth... oh, and I lost some weight since last time, so that was nice, and it wasn't from being sick since I've been eating fine this last week... anyhow...

Doc came up with two possibilities... either influenza, or bronchitis, and considering there's no nausea and no cases of flu outbreaks right now, he's treating the bronchitis. (so you were right dorothy! bonus points for the long distance diagnosis!)

Wrote out a prescription for cough syrup with codeine... then he gave me that really serious look.

'No aspirin'

Yes, I know, allergic and all.

'NO aspirin. Or anything like it, just in case.'

headache/neck ache/swollen feeling/fever? Aspirin could potentially kill me right now... I keep forgetting that Reye's isn't curable, just very quiet as long as I'm careful. So it's lots of rest, lots of water, and much sleeping.

Kinda sucky to be sick today, of all days... besides V-day, it's our 10 year 'elven' anniversary. I got a dozen beautiful purple roses and a plushie goose. ^_^
