I'm not dead, I just felt like it was going that way for a bit. This is the first day in almost a week that I actually felt like sitting at the computer. Still don't feel like writing.

Had strep. I think it's been a few years since I've had it; I forgot what a beastly thing it is.

And we had a bunch of snow dumped on us. And Erestor (the car) wouldn't start. So, Erestor got his ass towed down the street. Will learn how much Erestor is going to cost me tomorrow. (Erestor better not cost too much; babycar still needs new converter and license renewal; luckily babycar is now too old to be tested for emissions anymore)

That meant dealing with AAA thingie thing when I wanted to be in bed. Dammit.

Mark is sick as of today, too.

On the up side, this means we should be healthy for Seattle in mid-March.

I can, at the moment, breathe. This is also good. I owe Jo for telling me about zinc. He rocks.

And Marty and Brandy were awesome this afternoon, taking my mind off being sick for a few minutes.

Was supposed to film on Friday... feel bad about canceling on that. We can only film Friday nights for Gondolin scenes because that's the only time we get the place that looks like Gondolin. :(

After we return from Seattle, I want to plan for both the long awaited for ThunderCats marathon, and also the retro video games night. Need to film, but also, am having TC-withdrawal. And, have found the retro video games.

Oh! I know what else happened this past week... my vacuum cleaner had a fit. Making awful noise and not sucking anything up. This was, hmm, Monday I think. We went to the store for something else and their was a souped up one on sale for 75 bucks, so we just went and got it. So now I have a possibly-working vacuum and a mega powered vacuum that you have to hold on to. I mean, you don't push it, it runs off and you grab it so it doesn't suck up a cat or something.

And, it's sparkly. That part really impressed me.

The trouble is, I'm restless, and I've wandered about finding things to do that I probably shouldn't but I get bored. I decided the shelf that was attached to the wall in the bedroom was too cluttered, so I took everything off of it, threw away stuff that's just sat there for years, and then decided after it was clean that there was no need for a shelf with so little stuff. So I removed the shelf. This left eight small but annoying holes in the wall. So, I got some patch stuff and fixed that. Then I had to wash the wall off, because I could see where the shelf rubbed against it. Then, the wall looked too bare, so I found some artwork and hung it up.

This is why I'm safer in a library. I cause less trouble.

If only I wasn't blowing my nose every other minute and hacking all over everything...

Nice! Wonderful to be able to take the hubby with you - worst part of business travel is leaving spouse at home.

Luckily for me, if I pay for his airfare I can take him with me, because hotel would be the same with or without him. And with him there, I don't have to worry about not waking up on time(I can't wake up to an alarm) and I would have a hard time sleeping without him there. (And I think the boss prefers it when the lady librarians go to conferences for them to take a guy along to make sure they get around and back okay)

You sound like me. Whenever I'm gone, Carmel always calls me to wake me up in the morning. He's been my alarm clock for years.
