zhieIn a previous posting, I said I'd do a drabble as per whatever I specified. I only had two takers (thus far, still will do it, won't even make you put the same in your LJ even though it says that on the instructions)... and here are the results...

Glorfindel came up behind his husband as he hummed and washed the dishes from their afternoon meal. Elrond had insisted that the pair take a few days from their duties and spend it as far away from Imladris as they liked. Taking with them only a few meager items, they had mounted their horses and rode two day's from the house before finally settling themselves in a pine grove near a little stream. It was this stream that Erestor was knelt beside as Glorfindel wrapped his arms around Erestor's shoulders and began to kiss and nip at his neck, causing Erestor to discard the plate and wet cloth on the grass, moaning and leaning back.
"I thought you'd never-" began Erestor, but Glorfindel hushed him by turning his head 'round and thrusting his tongue into his lover's mouth. The pair undressed themselves and each other, keeping contact as close as they could. Nearby, Asfaloth whinnied in warning, but all for naught -- the couple slipped on the edge of the stream and fell into the shallow water with a ker-splush! which was followed by snorting and laughter from two very wet, and completely naked elves.
"Come on, let's get ashore. The water's cold," said Erestor matter-of-factly. He began to stand, but Glorfindel's hands wrapped around his wrists and pulled him back down into the stream. As soon as he was sitting once again, Glorfindel pushed him gently back into the icy water. Erestor steadied himself with his hands at either side while Glorfindel predatorily crawled up, aligning their bodies. "Let me warm you up," growled the more muscled elf, his blond hairs skimming the water as he leaned down.
“Yes, but- oh... ah-alright.” Erestor’s near immediate acquiescence amused Glorfindel, and he took great pleasure in how swiftly he could change the scribe’s mind. He took greater pleasure, however, in Erestor himself.

“Burn him out, I will, that is what I shall do!” My wings, ancient and unused for so long, I spread out and stretch. Flying is like treasure-hoarding: Once you start, you hardly forget how to do it.
And out of the mountain I come. To the Lake-town then, with their arrogant men. It is one of them who has come to mock me, or one they have helped. Enough thought on this barrel-rider and riddle-maker, now, and time for something I should well have done years ago. The town will pay for their grave mistake, and then pay me no more worries as their bodies turn to ash.
“Run, run, lucky number, for your luck has run out,” I growl as I approach the town, snapping my jaws and licking my lips as my eye catches a pair of plump ponies tugging at the posts they are tied to. But now I catch sight of something more, and they have known of my coming, for the bridges are cut and their arrows at ready. They have known of me, but ill-prepared has their thief made them and my rage merely helps to kindle the fire within me.
My laughter extends the flames as their puny weapons snap and clatter off of my armor, and their cries bring me to chuckle. This that they brought upon themselves. Striking down their structures is no real challenge, as stone and board break as my tail hits them. I hardly need try. It is all too easy to watch them fall.
