Elven fanfiction to do List...

zhieI am going to try not to let happen what happened when I was writing TC, that is, I'm hoping not to leave poor helpless fics to die, lost and forgotten... well, perhaps not forgotten, I get reminded by TW quite a lot that I need to finish them... but anyhow... think of this as an update in what's going on with all the things the muses have not been quite so helpful with.
Started and posted, but not finished...
For You I'll Cross the Sea [Thranduil falls in love, gets married, goes to Mirkwood]: Probably the het story that gets the most 'where's the next part?' requests. Working on chapter seven I think it is at the moment; have to try to get some dialogue without mentioning the name of the person they're talking about, hoping to have the next part out today or end of the week at the latest
Year of Madness/ Nightmares [a challenge to write Erestor as a half-Vala in an mpreg story]: I hit a block on this one because a really, really awesome scene I was going to put into this ended up being something that worked better for my original fiction... so now I just have to come up with something good to plug in there, and, nothing has hit me yet :(
The Comedy of Erestor and Glorfindel [the Romeo and Juliet thing]: Butchering Shakespeare is harder than it looks; I think I just have way too many other things to really think well on this one at the moment. Soon as I knock out a few of these other ones, I'll be good to go on it.
And Morgoth Trembled [Gwindor's return]: Only has two parts yet to go. Working on the next section of it; should be finished in the next month or so.
Friendly Wagers [first story; the bet between Legolas and Gimli]: Yes, eventually, it will be done... I need to revamp it though, don't I? It's mostly written out, more or less.
From the Desk of the King of Greenwood the Great {Haldir takes over Mirkwood]: Just a couple parts left to this one; I think I just haven't finished it yet because from the PPBs and other things, it's already known that some nasty fate befalls the realm, and I'm starting to feel bad about that... hell of a time to gain a writing conscience, doncha think?
Discovery [Third part of a triology about Haldir, follows Reverie and Recovery]: The idea and some of the text for the rest of it is done. Nothing of it is archived anywhere, sadly, and I believe I may have misplaced part two completely.

Surrender [Erestor encounters a vampire]: First half done; has to wait for the finishing of something I'm helping Laura with
Three [Erestor/Glorfindel/OFC]: Almost complete, was supposed to be the last piece for Screw Yule. Alas, I can't come to a decent conclusion, and so it sits
The Balrog Story [What to do with a little balrog...]: I still hold out the slightest bit of hope that I will find the sheet where I printed up the contents of the now-missing file. I'm itching to write it; but I don't want to start all over again.
The Chosen One [If I told you the plot, it would ruin it]: A definite go, concept-wise. I just need to make sure I don't contradict myself in the rest of what I wrote...
Eagle and Dove [Erestor and Glorfindel go to Harad and meet Elodien]: Has to be done, fills in gaps. About ten pages written. Six parts planned; figure it'll be a year or so before it gets released; sequel to Silver and Gold.
On a 'Lark [Birds of a Feather, 2nd in the series]: It would come between Canary and Swansong, that's why it gets put second. Story of the Meadowlark (Glorfindel), sorta. Okay, it's a reason to finally have a smutfic in the BOAF realm.
The Special Thing [Glorfindel thinks something is nifty; Erestor doesn't]: A short little comedy I just need to kick my butt into finishing
Wonder if I'm missing any... list doesn't look long enough...
