Home again, home again

On this week's episode of 'Zhie changes her mind', she decides to go over to the family gathering despite having to tote along enough kleenex to choke a medium-sized farm mammal.
So, I did get to the second birthday of the holiday weekend after a bath and a nap and a rather nice dream that of course reminds me how neglectful I've been of my muses.
And now, I do believe a second nap is in order. And maybe another one of those dreams *looks around for muses*
Oh! And we have strawberries in the yard. Some of you might recall my failed attempts at getting some seedlings to grow in the apartment while we were waiting on a verdict on this place. Well, I will still be allowed to do some harvesting this year, for beneath all those nasty prickly weeds, I discovered these cute little plants more adorable than anything in farmville, with happy little red strawberries attached. Considering strawberries are my favorite food (carrots come a close second), and I can see these looking down from my office window, it's all good. Yay for strawberries; at least one muse is appeased. Now, to find a peach tree.... and, yes, peach trees can grow up here, amazingly.
