And also an imported remix CD of Lady Gaga's stuff. And? The clerk actually new both musicians, so meaningful conversation regarding music, sex, and gay rights ensued.

I was also advised I have to go --- OMG, there's a lyric I love already! 'i'm slightly damaged goods/ lost in a reverie/ wiped clean my memory' -- anyhow, the clerk told me I totally have to go watch Gaga's new video.

ha! I just realized the title of that song I pulled the lyrics from has a title that's a 'slash' title... ("Subject/Object"). Okay, I'm just being silly now.

Andy's voice is more 'British' than usual on this album. It's different, not specifically bad or good, just different.

Wow. There's a song on here that's an homage to Debbie Harry & drag queens. And it rocks.

Sorry about that... does it help that Erasure's been around since the 80s? And that I have a huge poster of Led Zeppelin up in the library because Plant & Page are rock gods? Or that there's a poster of Jim Morrison on the back of my office door, that, when the staff are really trying my patience, instead of yelling or cursing, I go in there and hold conversations with Jim loud enough so that the staff can hear?

I'm all over the place in terms of music; Lady Gaga, for me, is like a modern, female version of Freddie Mercury, especially when she's singing rock ballads.

But, yes, I like Lady Gaga. I scoot over to the television every time they show the Bad Romance music video... which is about once a day... (they really need to show more Erasure videos...)

I'm older and like Medieval and Celtic music of many sorts. I worshiped those two in my younger days. And I lost 25 percent of my hearing due to Led Zeppelin.

"Alajandro" [sp?] isn't bad. Not as crazy as "Telephone", but up there with the rest of her stuff... very Madonna-ish. I think it's funny how she calls her fans "little monsters"... lol
