Every few weeks I get to add another wild creature to the 'seen it' list now that we've been in the house for over a year and have a yard to enjoy. Today: frogs!
Okay, just one. But where there's one, there's more, right?
I have been trying to figure out just what the heck is able to a) move really fast b) leap high and c) is small, black, and brownish that is out in the yard. When I go to mow the lower part of the lawn and stuff, there's been something jumping around.
Well, today, I followed and leaped after them up onto the terrace -- and I found a frog! A pretty big one for his or her type -- from what I can gather, it's one of these:

Also saw the chipmunk and a bunny today, but they were on the list already. Yay wildlife.
