I had no intention of winning. I've noticed that this younger group of LOTR fans that's up and coming is much more interested in the females of Middle-earth than the males (remember when 90% of the fan art was Legolas or Haldir?) Galadriel as Cleopatra would have stood a better chance, I think. But it was fun, and that's my purpose with this whole thing. I think I'll miss it come round three when I have to duck out for NaNoWriMo... though, I'm really chomping at the bit to get back at that. (I have FABULOUS things planned for the region!)

And, I think I have to do more 'period' drawings with Elves... just for the heck of it...

PS - King Erestor, Pharaoh of Egypt, says he will gladly accept all three of the above ladies into his royal harem. There may be crack!fic written about it.

I cackled in glee seeing this your work - I'd already assumed it was yours since it features Erestor, but still, the cackling occured. :D I love everything about it, especially the details - the Tengwar on his shendyt are great, and crackfic would be most delicious. My Eärwen is a bibliophile, he could definitely find ways to entice her... ;)
