(although this part’s fairly tame... there were an awful lot of names... I didn’t have a lot of time for the usual fun and games)

The Laiquendi leader was named Denethor
The elf who created runes
Is one who really croons
He loved Luthien, but Daeron could not win her with his tunes

Elros and his brother, if you do the math
With Elrond’s sons all qualify as half
And it’s said in Imladris
All you need do to get a kiss
Is to run into Erestor behind the library stacks
(Just watch out for Elladan and Elrohir and what they hide behind their backs)

There are so many E-elves, I tend to loose track
Eol is the dark one, a royal of Doriath
And Ecthelion took down three balrogs before facing Gothmog’s wrath
It’s a good thing we don’t have any X, Y, and Zs
Because I need time for Earwen, Earendil and others besides these

Feanor, how could we forget, everything you did that you probably regret
And Fingolfin and Finarfin, your brothers
Although you did have different mothers
All of them followed you out of respect
From your father Finwe to your many sons
Finrod and Fingon and other loved ones
