Summary: Cousins become lovers when given the opportunity.

Notes: Originally I thought it was going to be a single ficlet thing,
I was wrong, apologies for that. Now there are three parts AND a
sequel later. By the way, if the thought of two cousins playing hide
the silmaril doesn't appeal to you (and by hide the silmaril, I don't
mean a literal silmaril, I mean… oh, you know what I mean), you might
not want to keep going…

Chocolate cake and football games

I'm coming off my 'double anniversary' week. On the 12th was the very significant ten years being together mark, and during dinner at a nice little Italian restaurant we decided, things were going well, at least another ten years sounded like a good plan. On the 16th, it was our 7th wedding anniversary (which was spent watching football after I made breakfast, and generally being lazy around the house).

There is still an untouched homemade chocolate cake with lemon frosting sitting at home. I don't know quite how, but it's made it through the past 36 hours without so much as frosting swiped.

Busy work week ahead. Today, a shipment came into the library that I wasn't expecting, so there's a whole bunch of periodical bins to switch over. Tomorrow I have a council meeting; Wednesday is our pirate-themed coffee break. Thursday I'll be at the main campus all day -- meeting; planning session; another meeting, and on Friday I'm sure there is something but I am afraid to look at the calendar.

And to top it off, I get a message this morning, asking we consider opening 45 minutes early, so that people who forgot to print assignments they need for 7:30 classes can come in to print. Apparently, someone forgot that our main purpose is that we are the LIBRARY, not a computer lab.

Grr, snarl.

But to cheer me up greatly, Anieni and I are embarking upon a new fic together! I am muchly excited about it ^_^ I really missed writing with her. It's going to be a happy, fluffy, silly comedy, which I've also missed writing. Oh, and it's het.

And... there is a campus scavenger hunt going on right now... I happen to be the answer to one of the questions.. and here comes another one, guess my break is over...
